Driving to Toronto from Pinedale takes approximately 40 minutes. However, during rush hour the time you spend in the car could increase to approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Using the Appleby GO Station is a huge benefit to local residents and gives commuters a consistent travel time to Union Station of 44 minutes. Pinedale is also situated close to the QEW.

Most Pinedale homes are a short walk or bike ride to the Appleby Go Station. Grab a seat on the train, stream an episode of whatever series you’re currently binge watching, look up and you’re downtown. And for those who are driving to closer destinations, Pinedale is conveniently located just south of the QEW. This neighbourhood somehow manages to offer buyers quick highway access without the annoying highway noise (from most parts).

In Pinedale you will find a wide variety of homes built mostly in the 1970’s: bungalows, 3 level side-splits, 4 level side-splits, raised ranches, and back-splits. You will also find a mixture of semi-detached homes, townhomes and condominium apartment buildings.

In addition, a subsection of the neighbourhood known as “Woodland Trail” (just south of Sherwood forest and west of Burloak) has a mixture of newer 2-storey detached homes with the coveted 2-car garage, semi-detached & link properties, and freehold townhomes. If a ravine lot is important to you, this part of Pinedale might be one area you will want to keep an eye on.

It’s hard to find a mixture of convenience, comfort and and beauty at an affordable price in any neighbourhood in the GTA, but Pinedale certainly has it.
