Driving to Toronto from Longmoor takes approximately 35 minutes. However, during rush hour the time you spend in the car could increase to approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Using the Appleby GO Station is a huge benefit to local residents and gives commuters a consistent travel time to Union Station of 44 minutes. Longmoor is also situated close to the QEW.

An off road, multi-use path runs from one side of Longmoor to the other, making this area distinctly appealing to cyclists.
Compared to its neighbour south of New Street (Shoreacres), Longmoor is a modest area. Homes are generally smaller, lots are a little narrower, and are trees a bit shorter. That said, anyone would be lucky to live here. Detached homes are predominant in the area and come in the following styles: raised ranches, backsplits, sidesplits and bungalows. The lots the homes sit on are private, treed and would accommodate a pool.
This area is perfect for any family with dreams of safe evening bike rides. In Longmoor there are plenty of meandering quiet roads to explore without fear of being mowed down by traffic.
